Johor, 16 March 2012 – Since the launch of the pre-opening promotional annual passes in December 2011, LEGOLAND® Malaysia has received positive responses from the public on the sale of these annual passes. To date LEGOLAND Malaysia, which is especially designed for families with children from 2-12 years of age, has sold over 10,000 passes with 60% sold in Malaysia.

LEGOLAND Malaysia at MATTA FAIR

With its participation at the MATTA Fair in Kuala Lumpur from 16 to 18 March 2012, LEGOLAND Malaysia will continue on its marketing roadshow in key cities in Southeast Asia to create greater awareness for the theme park. Located in Nusajaya and especially designed for families with children aged from 2-12 years, LEGOLAND Malaysia will be the sixth LEGOLAND theme park in the world and first in Asia.“We are excited to be part of the MATTA Fair in KL this weekend as this is the perfect platform for us to kick-start our marketing campaign. On opening day LEGOLAND Malaysia will be packed full of more than 40 rides, shows and attractions over an impressive area of 76 acres. Nearly all of the rides are hands-on, so you can push, pull, pedal, programme, steer, squirt, splash, crawl, climb and yes – build your way through a full day and more, of non-stop fun. The park is divided up into seven themed areas. Each themed area is designed to ensure that heroes of all ages will find much to explore and enjoy at the LEGO experiment centers, roller coasters, water attractions and shows. The whole family can thus embark on a day-long voyage of discovery, adventure and fun!
