KUALA LUMPUR: 17 FEBRUARY 2015 – AirAsiaGo.com, Asia’s leading one-stop online travel portal was recently announced as the Bronze Winner in the Best App/Content by a Consumer Brand category at the third edition of the Mob-Ex (Mobile Excellence) Awards 2015. Held at the Mandarin Orchard Hotel in Singapore, the Mob-Ex Awards rewards leading organisations that have pushed their limits towards measurable success via the mobile platform, through sound and innovative mobile marketing strategies.

This win is for the AirAsiaGo Mobile App campaign, making it the maiden mobile award for AirAsiaGo.com since the mobile app’s official launch in Malaysia just three weeks ago. Since its first introduction in Indonesia and Thailand four months ago, the AirAsiaGo Mobile App has hit above 100,000 downloads, despite zero marketing spend.
