The 20-year hospitality industry veteran will oversee the hotel’s sales and marketing strategies and initiatives as well as to maximise growth opportunity in corporate transient, group, conference services and catering sales.

He will play an integral role in the development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans”, said Hugo Gerritsen, Area General Manager of Dorsett Grand Subang and Dorsett Grand Labuan.
Prior to joining Dorsett Grand Subang, Gilbert has worked with numerous international hotel groups such as Pan Pacific Hotels & Resorts, Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts and Nikko Hotels International; all in different locations around the world in similar capacity.
Gilbert completed his Post Degree in Business Administration at the National University of Taiwan, Taipei; and pursued his Hotel Management and Operation studies at The Japan Hotel School, Tokyo. He is fluent in written and spoken Japanese and Mandarin.
