World of Adventure, Mid Valley

Kuala Lumpur, April, 2013) – URBAN ADVENTURE will host a party to launch the official grand opening on Wednesday, 24th April 2013 from 3.00pm. It is the first concept store in South East Asia, with a total area  of 5,000 sq. ft. located in Mid Valley Megamall. Bringing together VIPs, celebrities, shoppers and outdoor sports enthusiasts for a remarkable experience of fun and adventure.

There’ll be a list of adventurous crowd to amidst the excitement of the day with celebrities and socialites. Expect a number of familiar faces to attend the event with celebrities like Ning Baizura, Pink Tan, Amy Wong, Lawrence Wong, Myfm DJ Jym along with local athletes are dressed in renowned International outdoor brands from top to toe under the umbrella of Urban Adventure.

DJ Paco will take the party up notch by being on the decks especially for Urban Adventure, alongside the talented Baki Zainal and Azura Zainal as emcee of the day. They will kick start the launch by greeting all VIPs, fellow medias, and guests with their cheerful personality.

The event starts with live mannequins featuring Urban Adventure top renowned international outdoor brands. It will then be followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony to officiate the launch by VIPs –  Steven Goh (CEO of W.O.S World of Sports (M) S/B), Carol Wong ( Assistant General Manager of W.O.S World of Sports (M) S/B), Rennie Lee (Head of Operations/Leasing of Mid Valley Megamall) and Dato’ Radha Krishnan  ( Managing Director of UFL).

There’ll be a wall climbing competition by the finalist of ‘Need for Speed Challenge’. One grand prize will be rewarded to Men Category and Women Category each, as well as consolation prizes to the rest of 4 contestants. All prizes will be presented by Steven Goh – CEO of WOS World of Sports (M) Sdn Bhd.
