Explore a world of flavour with an Indonesian Food Festival experience from 11th to 29th May 2015. Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar is so excited to host the food festival featuring some of the best fusion of Indonesian cuisine at LINK All Day Dining. The festival will provide guests, whether professional gastronomes or adventurous diners, to try out something new and exciting – a worthwhile experience not to be missed.
Indonesian food is one of the most vibrant and colourful cuisines in the world, full of intense flavour and variant texture. And now, guests will get the opportunity to discover what Indonesian cuisine is all about. Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar has specially invited Sous Chef De Partie Untung Pardiona and Demi Chef De Partie M. Ramli from Pullman’s sister property in Jakarta to immerse diners with unique culinary dishes and transport them to Indonesia through this exciting culinary experience.
On the menu, there will be an array of authentic Indonesian dishes that will be served over the period of the festival. Some of the highlights are Nasi Goreng Daun Mengkudu, one of the country’s signature dishes; Kambing Guling; Tahu Telor; Tongseng Kambing; Soto Ayam Madura; and many other unique mouth-watering side dishes. For lovers of spicy food, do try the exhilarating Ayam Penyet Pleceng Kangkung, a staple dish from Lombok island made from ground red chilli, pepper and burned bird’s eye chilli, which is bound to ignite taste buds.
In addition to presenting dozens of selected food, LINK will also display attractive decoration and fantastic costumes that incorporate Indonesian style to reflect the culture and give guests the feeling of being in Indonesia. The famous shadow-puppet, stone figures and Indonesian batik are among the decoration that will be put on display at the outlet. Interestingly, LINK also invites Indonesia dancers to perform and introduce their traditional dance and the country’s diverse ethnicities and culture throughout the dinner.
The whole Indonesian food experience is offered at an attractive price of RM120.00 nett per person (50% discount for children between 6 – 12 years old), commencing from 11 until 29 May 2015 (6:30pm to 10:30pm).
