Kuala Lumpur, 6 May 2015 – Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar will once again set themselves as the ultimate dining destination on this holy month of Ramadan for a spread of mouth-watering and sumptuous selections of dishes from 21 June until 16 July 2015 at LINK, the hotel’s all day dining outlet.
The theme for this year’s Ramadan buffet is Starry Arabian Nights, which features extensive traditional Arabian and Malay cuisines. Arabian cuisine is flavourful and aromatic, using ingredients like cumin, nutmeg, turmeric and caraway. What is today regarded as Malay food is the result of centuries of outside influences, including Arabic, into Malay dishes.
Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar specially invited Chef Abdullah from Yemen who has 15 years of experience under his belt. Some of the buffet highlights are shish tawook (which is traditional shish kebab); whole baby lamb with Arabian marination; shawarma (Levantine Arab meat preparation where the beef is placed on a spit); spicy marinated sea bass fillet; lamb kofta and more. Another not-to-be-missed delicacy is the fresh durian especially sourced from local farm, popular among East and South East Asian patrons.
To enliven the atmosphere, LINK will incorporate Arabian decor such as exotic lighting with starry lights. There will also be live ghazal performance to serenade diners when savouring the buffet.
The whole Starry Arabian Nights food experience is offered at an attractive price of RM140 nett per person only (50% discount for children between 6 and 12 years old), commencing from 21 June until 16 July 2015 (6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.)
