Located in the north of the Klang Valley, Hulu Selangor has not always been on top of travellers’ minds. Probably the sound of a sleepy town surrounded by a thick verdant forest may not be that alluring.
In conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2014, the Visit Malaysia Year (VMY) 2014 Secretariat, together with Gaya Travel Magazine, organised a special awareness and promotion program on VMY 2014 called Celebrating 1Malaysia Truly Asia (C1MTA), which involves bringing selected local and international media representatives and travel agents to familiarise with particular destinations and tourism products.
Tourism Malaysia (TM) revealed its Integrated Digital Marketing Programme as part of Visit Malaysia Year 2014 global marketing and advertising campaign.
– Malaysia has been ranked as among the top ten tourism destinations in the world to visit for 2014, by the popular travel guide, Lonely Planet, as well as being the only Asian country to have made the list.
