Uniqlo, Japan’s No. 1 apparel brand has just opened its second store in Suria KLCC after the success of its very first Malaysian outlet at Fahrenheit, Bukit Bintang. The grand opening took place at the centre court of Suria KLCC, located at the base of PETRONAS Twin Towers.
The launch event of Uniqlo witnessed ten local celebrities showcasing some of the brand’s latest collection. Celebrities like Alex Yoong, Deborah Henry, Yasmin Hani, Datuk Sheikh Muszaphar, Angie Ng, Josiah Ng, Ella, Stacie of Akademi Fantasia fame, Dennis Lau and Noh Hujan were the 10 celebrities that made special appearance bedecked in Uniqlo casual wear wowed the crowd. Also present during the opening were the Managing Director of Uniqlo, Mr. Satoshi Onoguchi and the popular MTV VJ, Utt Panichkul.
According to Mr. Onoguchi, “our Malaysian consumers have been very encouraging and supportive of our brand and we will continue to bring more high quality Japanese fashion apparels to the country.”
