Kuala Lumpur, 31 December 2013 – Novotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) ushered in the New Year stylishly with its new and dashing General Manager, Mr. Thomas Colbert. The venue for the dinner was at the poolside on Level 3, which was transformed into an intimate yet stylish arena under the stars that featured several different buffet sections of grilled meat, dessert spread and main dishes. To add to the festive atmosphere, there was even a dazzling ice carving of the numbers “2014” that were lit up in multi-coloured bulbs.

Chef Huzaidy, the Executive Sous Chef and the team whipped up the delicious spread of New Year’s Eve buffet dinner. Some of the dishes that received high praise that night were the tiger prawn, grilled lamb and delectable desserts that kept guests coming back for more. Other dishes included Spanish Paella Rice, Seafood Spaghetti with Thai Green Sauce, Mutton Varual and Chicken Lasagna.

Guests from Japan, India, Kazakhstan and Malaysia brought their families and friends together for a fun celebration with their complimentary party packs and live music performed by the resident band, Triple Treat. The highlight of the buffet dinner was a round of Lucky Draw session with Novotel KLCC giving away free hotel stay vouchers of various Accor’s sister properties in Jakarta, Bali, Singapore and more.
