Kuala Lumpur, 11 April 2023 – Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur is delighted to share the launch of its premium breakfast menu, which provides guests with a sophisticated and indulgent dining experience, as well as the introduction of a new mobile Plug & Play workstation, which provides guests with a comfortable, convenient, and functional workspace while on the go.

The new mobile workstation offers a variety of features, allowing guests to stay productive and connected while away from their usual workspace. With the Plug & Play mobile workstation, guests can enjoy the convenience and flexibility of remote office space in the comfort of their room.

Premium Breakfast

The premium breakfast menu is curated by the culinary team led by Executive Chef Scott Brands, who has carefully selected the finest ingredients and crafted unique dishes to satisfy even the most sophisticated palates.

From 7^th April 2023, guests can indulge in decadent dishes such as Premium Wagyu Beef Mignon with Lobster Egg Benedict, a twist on the classic eggs benedict with succulent lobster meat, wagyu beef mignon, and hollandaise sauce, or DIY Caviar Waffles, featuring homemade waffles with a selection of caviar and accompaniments.

For those who prefer local cuisine, the menu offers a luxurious version of Nasi Lemak with Wagyu Beef Rendang and Lobster Sambal, made with premium ingredients. Guests can also enjoy other local favourites such as Curry Laksa with Sabah Green Lobster, prepared with the finest cuts of meat and seafood and cooked to perfection.

To complement the exquisite dishes, the premium breakfast menu also includes lavish items such as Seared Foie Gras with French Toast, a decadent combination of crispy French toast and buttery foie gras, and a selection of fine teas and coffees, as well as seasonal freshly squeezed juices and smoothies.

For those constantly on the go and striving for time, we have the premium breakfast Grab & Go to ensure a fuss-free and delicious meal wherever your plans may take you. Order in advance and pick up from our all-day dining café as you step out for the day. The premium breakfast menu starts from RM 288 nett at the Lobby Lounge and at the Horizon Club Lounge, which features a luxurious and elegant atmosphere that complements the hotel’s luxurious surroundings.

With the increasing reemergence of local and international business travel, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur is innovating and elevating its offering to support business travellers with a professional Plug & Play concept.

The new mobile Plug & Play workstation is ideal for business travellers who require a fully functional mobile office in their room. With simple cable plugging, guests can connect their laptops to the workstation and instantly have a fully functional mobile workstation in their spacious room or luxurious suite. The premium mobile workstation can be adjusted to guests’ preferred height and angle, promoting comfortable and ergonomic working positions. Perfect for guests who need to work for extended periods and require a comfortable and convenient working environment.

The sleek, designed single-screen mobile workstation is available in room categories Executive and above, providing guests with a sophisticated and efficient workspace. For optimum productivity, guests can upgrade to our dual-screen option, available for suites only. These additional plug-and-play add-ons are from RM 150++ per room per night.

Starting from May, guests staying from Deluxe room categories onwards can transform their room into a mobile office with our Plug & Play enhanced devices on their working desk for an additional RM 100++ per room per night. The enhanced devices include a wireless keyboard, mouse, and charging station for guests’ convenience and productivity.
