SUBANG, 14 JULY 2015 – Firefly’s new set of ready-to-go meals Firefly Express Meals are prepared by Kampong Kravers (M) Sdn Bhd and are offered to all Firefly passengers flying out of Subang Skypark International Airport. The newly revamped Firefly Express Meals were introduced to the public on 16 June 2015 and has since received positive feedback from Firefly passengers.
Firefly’s Chief Executive Officer, Ignatius Ong said in a statement, “Enhancing customer experience is an ongoing initiative for us. The experience doesn’t just start on the aircraft. It starts from the moment you book your flight, to checking in your luggage, to stepping foot on the aircraft until the moment you land. Finding the right partner that echoed our vision was critical and as a rule, we don’t compromise on quality.”
“Just like restaurants, we must constantly improve our menu and offer customers quality yet reasonably priced meals. The number of orders has doubled since we introduced the new Firefly Express Meals. Our Customer Survey Index (CSI) states that 97% of our passengers are happy with our inflight services. With products such as this, it helps differentiate us from the other airlines operating out of Subang Skypark”, Ong adds.
“Kampong Kravers is delighted to partner Firefly to serve our halal premium curry puffs, quality set meals and snacks to the valued customers of Firefly”, said Puan Alya b Abdullah, Founder of Kampong Kravers.
The new Firefly Express Meals menu has a distinctive yet classic take on authentic Malaysian favorites. It features halal, fresh, healthy, and high quality ingredients without added preservatives, MSG or artificial colouring. The five (5) meals to choose from include: Nasi Lemak Basmati with/without Ayam Berempah, Mihun Briyani with Ayam Berempah (Vegetarian option available), Chicken Karipap and Sweet Potato Karipap. These new Firefly Express Meals are sold at RM3.90, RM6.90 and RM11.90 per meal.
Passengers are required to pre-book their meals online and then collect their meals from Kampong Kravers (located on the Mezzanine Floor at Subang Skypark International Airport) prior to boarding their flights. Firefly’s existing complimentary refreshments will continue to be served onboard all flights.
“It is our goal to alleviate the stress faced by business people and commuters on-the-go from having to look for a meal before a flight out especially during peak periods. We’re positive that the new Firefly Express Meals menu prepared by Kampong Kravers will be embraced by our passengers. We will continue to implement many more products and services which are specially developed to provide our passengers the opportunity to travel comfortably and efficiently,” Ong further adds.
