Putrajaya Convention Centre (PICC) celebrates 80 selected children comprising orphans, asnaf and Muslim converts from both YAKIN Malaysia (a human development charity) and Rumah Kesayangan orphanage (RUKESA) during its ‘Breaking the fast’ ceremony at Cafe@PICC.
Dato Badlishah Hj. Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of Convention and Exhibition (Putrajaya) Sdn Bhd (Co-X), which also a management company under PICC, shares “We at PICC are very pleased to celebrate these children in this holy month of Ramadan. This is a part of our corporate social responsibility initiatives to the public as it is in line with the values that we believe in. We hope this will create more meaningful Ramadan for them and make their coming Aidilfitri celebration more joyous and memorable.” Much to the children’s excitement, PICC also hands out duit raya to them prior to breaking the fast.
