The award-winning Puteri Harbour, hailed as the Jewel of Iskandar Puteri, is an integrated, family-centric waterfront development with panoramic ocean views, its own marina, hotel as well as shopping and dining outlets. It is home to two of Malaysia’s most popular children’s indoor themed attractions – Sanrio Hello Kitty Town and Thomas Town – where families can enjoy rides, games and performances that are tailor-made to provide an interactive experience for young minds.

Here’s what little ones can look forward to at the theme parks:

Thomas Town transports kids to Sodor, home to Thomas and Friends, where they can ride on Bertie the Bus, patrol the island on Harold’s Helitours or take the relaxing Sodor Windmill Ride. Young fans will be thrilled to come face-to-face with these familiar faces, and for a little more excitement, the Colin Crane Drop Ride is bound to leave hearts racing!

Step into Sanrio Hello Kitty Town for a picturesque visit to many of the sites that make up Hello Kitty’s world. Guests even get to step into her full-sized home and meet her sister Mimmy, take a spin on the Kitty Tea Cup Ride and capture some lovely family moments at the Dream Photo Garden and Wishful Studio. Hello Kitty and her friends will also feature in regular stage performances: catch mini shows at 1pm (weekdays) and 3pm (weekends) plus the new show, The Great Witch Musical, at 4.30pm (weekdays) and 12.30pm (weekends, school holidays and public holidays)!

The Puteri Harbour Theme Park is also home to many more children’s beloved characters, from Angelina Ballerina and Barney to Bob the Builder and Pingu. And the best part is, the kids get to interact with them in different ways, by being part of Bob’s Can-Do Crew, learning a little ballet at Angelina’s Dance Studio and playing games or singing along with Pingu and Barney!

Plus, kids will have the chance to get up close and personal with all these characters during scheduled meet-and-greet sessions throughout the week!

Come Out and Play

For added fun, Puteri Harbour uses colours, textures and experiments to inspire learning and creativity with its Fun Science programme under the Come Out and Play theme. From now until June 30, a series of fun and interactive workshops give kids hands-on experience in simple science experiments!

In Colour Crazy, they get to see how dish soap and dyes react to create unique, coloured patterns; witness the effect salt and ice have on each other in Colour n’ Cream; and create their very own lava lamps in Lights, Lava, Action!

After a day of indoor fun, step outside to enjoy the breezy Marina Walk to enjoy the breeze and feast your eyes on the view as the sun sets over the Straits of Malacca. Then, as the light slowly fades, let your nose guide you to one of 17 eateries ranging from Kenny Roger’s Roasters and Sushi King to Olive Kitchen and Spice Grill.

Finally, retire to Somerset Puteri Harbour Iskandar Puteri, for a good night’s rest. As part of the luxurious waterfront development of Puteri Harbour, this serviced residence is near the theme parks, and offers spacious apartments ranging from studios to three-bedroom units that come fully-furnished with modern amenities. With facilities such as a gymnasium, swimming pool, restaurant and residents’ lounge available in the property, Somerset Puteri Harbour Iskandar Puteri provides the ideal home away from home for families to live, work and play. It is also strategically located and easily accessible with a 20-minute drive from the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link causeway and 25 minutes away from Johor’s Senai International Airport.

Come Out and Play is part of Puteri Harbour’s on-going mission to inspire learning and creativity through activities that appeal to a child’s sense of wonder and delight.
