The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi Unveils Silk Route-Inspired Festive Celebration
This festive season, The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi invites guests on a month-long journey of cultural discovery and refined indulgence with its Silk Route-Inspired Christmas and New Year Celebration, taking place from 5 December 2025 to 6 January 2026.
A Season of Wonder and Giving
The festivities begin with the Christmas Wishing Tree Lighting Ceremony on 5 December, adorned with handcrafted ornaments by children from the Langkawi Autism Care Centre (LACC). Continuing the spirit of giving, the resort partners with Networking Action for Disabled Youths (NADY), showcasing exquisite handmade crafts by local young artisans on 26 December.
The Nutcracker Café Returns
From 6 December, the Activity Center transforms into The Nutcracker Café, a whimsical retreat inspired by Tchaikovsky’s classic. Guests can savour a festive afternoon tea featuring delights such as Pandan Yule Log, Panettone, and artisanal chocolates, served daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Silk Route-Inspired Culinary Journeys
Executive Chef Okan curates a trio of exceptional dining experiences:
Silk Route Buffet at The Garden (19 & 26 December 2025): A vibrant spread of Chinese, Indian, and Arabian flavours.
Barbecue Buffet at The Beach Grill (21 & 28 December 2025): Featuring premium meats and fresh Andaman seafood.
Christmas Eve Dinners (24 December 2025):
Langkawi Kitchen: Five-course menu with Wagyu Short Rib and Salai Lemak Beef Carpaccio.

New Year’s Eve Elegance
Ring in 2026 with a choice of three exquisite dinners, followed by the Silk Route Garden Party—a starlit celebration featuring live music, cultural performances, a Perfume Alchemy Bar, Lantern Painting, and Calligraphy Keepsakes. A dedicated Kids’ Corner ensures a magical evening for the entire family.
Silk Route Odyssey at The Ritz-Carlton Spa
Inspired by ancient wellness traditions, the Silk Route Odyssey offers transformative spa journeys, including the Gua Sha Glow Facial, Spice & Silk Body Polish, and Silk Route Aromatherapy. Signature rituals conclude with a serene tea ceremony and handcrafted take-home keepsakes.
Festive Joy with Ritz Kids
From 5 to 30 December, Ritz Kids presents daily nature-inspired activities, including Batik Painting,
Santa’s Hidden Treasure, and the two-day Christmas Special on 24–25 December. On New Year’s Eve, little guests can enjoy themed crafts, face painting, and a festive celebration at the Kids’ Corner.
