SELANGOR, 29 NOVEMBER 2024 – Tourism Selangor Sdn Bhd has announced an adjustment in ticket prices for two of its popular ecotourism destinations, Chongkak Eco Forest Park and Kanching Eco Forest Park, effective 2 December 2024. This revision aims to support infrastructure upgrades and enhance safety measures, ensuring a better experience for visitors.

Since 2022, ticket prices have been kept at an affordable rate of RM 2.00 for local visitors and RM 8.00 for international tourists. With the upcoming adjustment, an additional RM 2.00 will be applied, while children aged 12 and below will continue to enjoy free entry.

Under the new structure, ticket prices will be RM 4.00 for local visitors and RM 10.00 for international visitors on weekdays, while a rate of RM 5.00 for local visitors and RM 12.00 for international visitors will apply on weekends and public holidays.

These eco forest parks have consistently attracted high foot traffic, with Chongkak Eco Forest Park welcoming 89,164 visitors and Kanching Eco Forest Park recording 55,852 visitors between January and October 2024.

Tourism Selangor remains steadfast in its mission to preserve and rehabilitate ecotourism sites across the state. The adjustments will ensure these natural treasures remain accessible and enjoyable for local and international visitors alike, as the state gears up for the Visit Selangor Year 2025.
