The prestigious award ceremonies are set to take place in several locations around the nation from now till 2 August 2019, following a successful opening event at The Grounds KL, MAHSA Avenue recently. The event saw some of the best hotels in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (with Pahang and Port Dickson) crowned as winners in the first installation of Traveloka Malaysia’s Hotel Awards.

MALAYSIA’S FIRST EVER TRAVELOKA HOTEL AWARDS

Traveloka Hotel Awards was first introduced in the brand’s home country, Indonesia back in 2017. Based on the great support that the brand has received from its hotel partners throughout the years, Traveloka decided to bring the initiative a step further with Malaysia being the first country in the South East Asia region to host the Traveloka Hotel Awards after Indonesia.

Angelica Chan, Country Market Manager of Traveloka Malaysia said that Traveloka Malaysia’s Hotel Awards is created specifically to give appreciation to the best hotel partners that were successful in creating a well-rounded experience for each guest. “It has been more than three years since our inception in the Malaysian market. This award is one of the ways of showing our appreciation to our hotel partners for their continuous hard work in providing top quality services to Traveloka’s guests. We hope that through this initiative, hotel partners will continue to provide great experiences in order to gain better positive reviews on Traveloka’s platforms,” says Angelica Chan, Country Market Manager of Traveloka Malaysia.

The nominees are identified through three different categories:

Prestige: 4-5 stars hotels (Exclusive hotels with a beyond-expectations stay)

Premium: 3 stars hotels (Comfortable hotels with the best stay experience)

Value: 1-2 stars hotels (High-quality hotels with value-for-money experiences)

 

Winners were chosen and evaluated based on the compilation of positive guests’ reviews
and feedback on Traveloka’s platform from the year 2018. The four awards categories are:

Best Guest Experience in Cleanliness
Best Guest Experience in Service
Best Guest Experience in Food
