A Moving Experience: Taiwan Comes to You
At the heart of it all is one message — WOW Taiwan. It’s more than a slogan; it’s a spark that stirs curiosity. With colourful car and bus ads rolling through Malaysia, the campaign brings Taiwan’s beauty right to our streets.
You’ll spot scenes of Alishan’s misty forests, Hualien’s hot air balloons, and even your favourite Taiwanese snacks, all brought to life in vibrant, carnival-like art. Each design reminds us that travel isn’t just about getting somewhere, but about seeing the world differently, even from the comfort of your daily commute.

The campaign takes Taiwan’s charm beyond airports and onto the road, turning everyday drives into moments of wonder. Think of it as spotting a scene straight out of your favourite travel vlog in the middle of traffic, you can’t help but smile.
Designs That Tell a Story
Each themed car design highlights a different side of the island’s charm:
- Retreat2WOW – Breathe in the calm of Alishan’s misty forests and hop aboard the Alishan Forest Railway. Pair the view with night market favourites like stinky tofu, oyster vermicelli, sweet potato balls, and candied hawthorns.
- Discover2WOW – Dive into the buzz of city life with Taipei 101, Beitou’s soothing hot springs, and streets lined with bubble tea, pineapple cakes, and wheel cakes.
- Adventure2WOW – Feel the energy of Taiwan’s east coast with dramatic views of Sanxiantai and Vase Rock, Amis tribal music, and colourful hot air balloons. Muslim-friendly bites like beef noodles and mango shaved ice complete the picture.
In total, 200 cars, including compact 4-seater and 6-seater models, will cruise through Klang Valley and Kota Kinabalu over three months, while Taiwan-themed buses and double-decker ads showcase Taiwan’s landscapes from north to south, east to west. From Taipei 101 and Beitou’s hydrangeas to Alishan’s forests and the Amis cultural coast, these designs turn city traffic into travelling art.
