Furama Bukit Bintang Obtains Halal Certification

Furama Bukit Bintang has officially obtained its “Halal” certification from the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) for 5 kitchen sections in the hotel.  The certification is valid until 15 September 2015.

The kitchen sections that received “Halal” certification are the butchery, cold kitchen, pastry kitchen, Western and Asian kitchen and the show kitchen.

The “Halal” application process was handled by the hotel’s Executive Sous Chef, Haslinda Nawi together with a dedicated team of Muslim employees who formed the hotel’s “Halal” committee.  Hotel Manager, KL Tan thanked the committee members for their diligence in obtaining the “Halal” certification.
