Ramadan Buffet Dinner at Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, May 4, 2016 – Break fast during this holy month of Ramadan with family and friends at Flavors Restaurant, Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences Kuala Lumpur. Placing diners in mind, our new Executive Chef, Chef Othman Abu Baker welcomes you with his rendition of the tradtional Asean Asam Pedas dishes infused with a modern twist to suit the modern palate.

The spicy and sour dish is widely known in Sumatra and in the Peninsula Malaysia. This dish is a part of the culinary heritage for both the Minangkabaus and the Malay. The Minang Asam Pedas can be easily found throughout Padang restaurants in Indonesia and Malaysia and it also has become a typical cuisine from Jambi, Riau and Peninsula Malaysia and also as far north in Aceh. However, the spices used in cooking may vary as well as the type of fish in accordance to their respective province.

Our Ramadan buffet spread showcase over 100 different dishes from freshly prepared salads and kerabu, soups, hot dishes, mouth watering desserts and a variety of thirst-quenching beverages to break fast. Specially prepared by the culinary team of Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences Kuala Lumpur, diners will be delighted with the variety of the menu.

Back by popular demand is the Swiss-Garden’s famous Roasted Whole Lamb on Pit, and Roasted Duck provides food lovers a new culinary experience. Our traditionally infused dishes are Asam Pedas Melaka, Rendang Kambing Tok, Tempoyak Ikan Patin, Laksa Buyong and a selection of tradtionally brewed soups just to name a few.

Head over to the show kitchen where our chefs will prepare a la minute fresh seafood at the action stalls such as Ikan Siakap Bakar, Ikan Pari Bakar, Mussels and a selection of wholesome noodles such as Prawn Mee, Mee Rebus and Laksa Kelantan for you to choose from.

For sweet endings, let us tempt you with irresistible local desserts such as Bubur Cha-Cha Nyonya Melaka, Serawa Durian, Kuih-Muih Nyonya, Pengat Pisang and other sweet delights. Indulge in warm desserts such as Homemade Crème Caramel or simply cool down with Ais Kacang, Malaysia’s all time favourite.

The Ramadan Buffet Dinners, priced at RM118 nett per adult and RM59 nett per child will be available daily from 6.30pm to 10.00pm starting June 6 to July 5 2016. Early bird bookings until June 5 2016 will enjoy 30% discount from the total bill. For groups of 20 persons and above, the Grand Hibiscus Ballroom and Grand Lotus Room are the perfect venues for entertaining corporate clients or for large family gatherings this Ramadan.
