TOKYO – Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo (KPH), one of Japan’s most prestigious international hotels located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, has introduced a new original Hello Kitty doll wearing yukata (Casual Japanese kimono) to commemorate the third year of operations of our “Hello Kitty” themed rooms. For guests staying in Hello Kitty rooms, an original Hello Kitty doll will be presented. Guests can take pictures of their fun and memorable stays wearing same yukatas in our Hello Kitty rooms.
Eight of our hotel rooms were renovated in the theme of the globally popular character “Hello Kitty”, with four rooms being remodeled in each of the two themes of “KITTY TOWN” and “PRINCESS KITTY” and opened on November 1, 2014. Our Hello Kitty rooms have received wide global media coverage and been used by “Hello Kitty” fans from around the world. In addition to the renovated rooms, our hotel has also started providing special room service breakfasts and special voice message services for Hello Kitty room guests.
