Putrajaya, 23 February 2024 – Nasyrul Quran is hosting the Global Quranic Arts Festival at the Nasyrul Quran Complex, Precinct 14, Putrajaya from February 23rd to March 3rd, 2024. The festival will be inaugurated on February 24th, 2024, coinciding with the 14th of Sya’ban, 1445H, by the Right Honourable Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, at the Al-Bukhari Hall, Nasyrul Quran Complex.

The Deputy Chairman and Trustee of Restu Foundation, YB Datuk Seri Haji Ahmad bin Haji Maslan, announced that this time, the word “RESTU” is used as a brand, returning to the name of Restu Foundation, which is a leading entity in the promotion of the Quran and Islamic arts in Malaysia, and the main organizer of this festival.

According to the Executive Chairman of Restu Foundation, YBhg Datuk Abdul Latiff Mirasa, “One of the objectives of this festival based on this theme is to introduce art as an interior decoration medium as an effort to preserve and promote the Quran, which is evidence of faith in Allah SWT and the reverence for Islamic symbols, as well as to utilize modern technology and ICT as a very effective and creative means of propagation with the aim of restoring the Muslim community to their true identity.”

“In addition, there are various exciting activities awaiting visitors throughout the festival, including an exhibition of Jubah (cloak) symbolizing the size of Prophet Adam AS. Furthermore, there are many program fillings such as exhibitions of Islamic home interior decorations, artifacts of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, collections of replicas of the swords of the Sahabat RA, and other legacies. Most interestingly, visitors have the opportunity to go down to the factory floor and observe the printing process up close,” he added.
