Vogue Lounge Opens in Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR – Vogue Lounge KL, in partnership with global media company, Condé Nast, is now open in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur.

One of its kind globally, Vogue Lounge KL is the only Conde Nast Restaurant in the region, and joins other renowned Vogue establishments including Vogue Cafes in Kiev, Moscow, Porto and Riyadh, GQ Bar in Berlin and Tatler Club in Moscow.

Spread over 18,500 sq ft, Vogue Lounge KL is located on Level 38 and rooftop of Menara SuezCap in buzzy Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur.

As an emerging fashion capital with a plethora of local high calibre talent, Kuala Lumpur is fast becoming a hub for trendy fashionistas seeking new experiences and eager to experiment with new, bold ideas. From designers to fashion icons, models, socialites and the city’s ‘It’ crowd, Vogue Lounge KL is poised to attract the crème de la crème of the capital.

Vogue Lounge KL features an elegant main dining area and lounge, cocktail bar, wine cellar, two private rooms as well as a 360 degree rooftop bar.

The opulent interior features double height ceilings with modern, contemporary finishing and sleek accents. Stunning images and covers from the archives of Vogue adorn the walls, including iconic shots from the past through to the modern day featuring the world’s most famous models and photographers.

A short escalator ride takes guests up to the rooftop bar which offers spectacular panoramic views of the Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya skyline featuring the iconic KL Tower and Petronas Twin Towers and, on a clear day, Genting Highlands. Lending an artistic flair to the ambience are two eye-catching wall murals by Penang-based UK multidisciplinary artist Thomas Powell, whose works appear across Malaysia and South East Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

The Vogue Lounge KL has a serious food pedigree – with its promise of ‘Food for the Fashionable’, the cuisine offers a French Japanese fusion twist. The menu, created by Chef Kazuhiko Kojima features main dishes including Saikyo Miso Marinated Black European Cod, Japanese Wagyu Steak, Roasted Margret French Duck Breast, alongside appetisers Hokkaido Sea Urchin with Ossetra Caviar, and Blue Crab Bisque. The selection of desserts includes Chocolate Terrine, Blanc Manger, and Lemon Tarte among others.

The rooftop bar and cocktail lounge will serve tapas including Japanese Wagyu Burger, Japanese Oysters, and Malaysian flavours Organic Sous Vide Chicken Satay and Organic Chicken Burger. Guests can also expect a specially curated drinks list by the in-house sommelier with signature cocktails Painting Grey and La Paloma, a selection of champagne and an extensive collection of fine wines, premium spirits, and distinctive beers, as well as Illy coffee, Bradley’s tea, sodas and juices.

From  DJs  to  vocal  performers  and  fashion  shows,  Vogue  Lounge  provides  late  night entertainment for diners. Vogue Lounge KL is open on Tuesdays to Thursdays from 5pm to 1am, Fridays and Saturdays 5pm to 2am, and Sundays 5pm to 1am.
