Kuala Lumpur, 19 April 2018 – In the spirit of welcoming the holy month of Ramadan, the unique taste of Nusantara cuisine is at the forefront this year at Kwee Zeen, Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara. The French luxury hotel brand has teamed up with Indonesian Chef Harry Haryadi from Pullman Jakarta Indonesia to provide a feast that will please your buds no end with the very best of Nusantara cuisine.
Be prepared to enter a world of gastronomic adventure amidst the modern contemporary setting of Kwee Zeen. Apart from traditional Nusantara cuisine, the buffet will also feature a spread of more than 200 delightful mix of Malay, Chinese, Indian, Japanese and Western favourites.
The salad bar offers a fine assortment of cold cuts, seafood on ice, sushi and sashimi as well as garden greens. In addition, there are also kerabu, ulam-ulaman, assortments of local salads and more to kick start your appetite. Among the main courses are Kambing Guling, Ayam Taliwang, Daging Batang Pinang Kerisik Daun Kunyit, Sambal Udang Petai, Rusuk Kambing Paceri Nenas, Rendang Daging Padang, Sayur Daun Singkong and much more. In addition to the hot clay pot found at the buffet line is a series of show kitchens featuring an open live cooking kitchen concept. Watch our talented and skilful chefs in action at the show kitchens as they whip up your request a la minutes ensuring the freshness of each dish ordered and served. In addition to the buffet spread is the live carving stations and action stalls. For dessert lovers, indulge in a wide variety of heavenly local Malaysian delicacies and delectable gourmet desserts.
Executive Chef Adrian Oliver Jackson who oversees the operational management of the kitchen in Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara said that there will be two menus on rotation throughout the month.
Besides offering assortment of tantalising delicacies, the feast boasts live ‘gamelan’ performance. Surau facilities are available for our Muslim guests as well as ample parking spaces.
Special meeting packages are available throughout the fasting month. At RM240.00nett per person for a full day meeting and RM200.00nett per person for a half day meeting, guests can savour the breakfasting buffet, compliment the package in the private meeting room. The special meeting packages are available for a minimum of 10 persons.
If you are looking for the perfect hampers for your colleagues, family, and friends, Sofi’s Deli offers delectable home-made cookies, cakes and classic Ramadan delicacies such as baklava and a wide selection of premium dates. The hampers will be made available from 15 to 30 June 2018 and price from RM28.00 onwards.
Sahur set is available daily throughout the fasting month for in-house Muslim guests, priced at RM114.00nett per person from 2:00am to 5:00am.
