An Evening of Cantonese Culinary Mastery with Chef Keith & Chef Leung at Shang Palace

Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur’s esteemed Cantonese restaurant, Shang Palace, invites guests on a gastronomic journey this August as two culinary masters unite for an exclusive four-hands dinner. Happening over two special evenings on 29 and 30 August 2025, this rare collaboration brings together Chef Leung Yu King of the Michelin-starred Summer Palace at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong and Chef Keith Yeap, Executive Chinese Chef of Shang Palace Kuala Lumpur.

A celebration of heritage and innovation, the four-hands dinner is a harmonious meeting of minds where decades of culinary mastery converge. The special 6-course menu features elegant highlights such as chilled abalone, a vibrant tamarind prawn, and delicately steamed garoupa – each designed to bridge classic Cantonese traditions with Malaysian influence. At its heart is the Shang Palace Prestige: Twin Delicacies of Herb & Tea, a signature creation that unites braised beef cheek with jasmine-smoked beef ribs in a refined showcase of depth and balance.
