AVIAREPS Appointed as Malaysia General Sales Agent (GSA) for Bassaka Air
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (4 December 2017) – AVIAREPS, the global leader in tourism, aviation and hospitality representation with 65 offices in 47 countries around the world, has been appointed by BASSAKA AIR, a passenger airline with its main hub located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia as its General Sales Agent in Malaysia beginning 13 November 2017. This appointment is in line with Bassaka Air’s aim to build and establish its presence in Malaysia to meet the demands of the new passenger flight service from Kuala Lumpur into Phnom Penh, Cambodia. As part of the representation, AVIAREPS will act as General Sales Agent for Bassaka Air in the Malaysian market, responsible for the airline’s sales, marketing, reservation and ticketing activities. This appointment is in line with Bassaka Air’s aim to build and establish its presence in Malaysia to meet the demands of the new passenger flight service from Kuala Lumpur into Phnom Penh, Cambodia. As part of the representation, AVIAREPS will act as General Sales Agent for Bassaka Air in the Malaysian market, responsible for the airline’s sales, marketing, reservation and ticketing activities.
Mark Thibault (Chief Executive Officer, Bassaka Air) says: “We are excited about this new appointment, as having representation in Malaysia is reflective of our efforts to further cultivate the demand of this market. We are confident with AVIAREPS as our strategic partner, we will be able to achieve this goal.”

Bassaka Air will operate daily flights between Phnom Penh, Cambodia and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia beginning 31 January 2018 with its family fleet of Airbus A320.
