A Chinese New Year “Reunion” Greets Travelers at Gateway@KLIA2
SEPANG, 19 January 2017 – Travelers and shoppers will be able to experience the ambience of a traditional Chinese New Year “Reunion Dinner” at gateway@klia2’s Chinese New Year celebration taking place from 13 January 2017 to 12 February 2017.
Malaysia’s only mall with an airport is welcoming the Year of the Rooster with a mall-wide festive decoration. The centerpiece of the Chinese New Year décor located in front of ERL at Level 2 is an ancient Chinese home which will be resided by the much adored characters, Pocotee and friends.
In addition to that, travelers can look forward to the island decorations that will be accompanied by these cute characters. Travelers can get their cameras ready as these decorations that are located around the mall are always selfie-ready for people to snap a photo with.
Pocotee Loh, the artist of Pocotee & Friends, drew these cute little characters to illustrate her daily life. Pocotee & friends, which includes characters such as Please J, Jiu, Toumato, Miss Egg, Dino Dino, Bear Boss, Mao and their latest addition of the season, HapiChick are also available for download as stickers on WeChat.
What’s more, shoppers and visitors alike will also be treated to an array of exciting and live performances and attractive giveaways that are themed around the annual celebration.
