The densely-packed Causeway Bay is the place to be, with shopping malls, department stores, boutiques and roadside stalls creating a unique ecosystem where shopping reigns supreme. From luxury brands to street fashion, homeware to the infamous Times Square Hong Kong, the sights and sounds are enough to overwhelm the senses, but the experience is not to be missed!

For a more gastronomical focus – and to satisfy the one foodie dude in the group who always wants to know where they’re eating next – head over to Kowloon City. This section of Hong Kong is known for its wide range of local delicacies, served on streets or in one of its many coffee shops or tiny restaurants. Try breakfast or brunch at the authentically un-touristy Kowloon City Wet Market, sample deliciously sweet and silky tau foo far, and have lunch at one of the scores of restaurants on Hau Wong Road boasting the best hairy crabs.

The best time to visit is between noon and 9pm when the street is closed to traffic; in the mornings, the street is open for vehicles to make deliveries.

Now, what do guys do when they get their hands on a new gadget? Test it out of course! And where better to do it than at Happy Wednesday at the Happy Valley Race Course? There’s no need to place any bets to enjoy the adrenaline rush while capturing the speed and excitement of horse racing! Happy Valley also boasts eight themed F&B outlets to suit every taste and preference; these include the race-themed lounge adrenaline and The Gallery, the rustic barbecue at Stable Bend Terrace and the fine-dining venue The Racing Club.

After all that, even guys need a little chill and relax time. To wrap up the hectic, no-holds-barred brocation, head to the leisurely and picturesque Sai Kung district – it’s the ultimate location for bros to catch some sun, sea and sand.
