It’s “Tap the West!” at Resorts World Genting as Starlight Festival 2025 Rides in This September
GENTING HIGHLANDS, 19 September 2025 – Saddle up for six unforgettable nights as Resorts World Genting once again lights up the highlands with its much-anticipated Starlight Festival 2025! Returning with a brand-new theme, this year’s celebration takes a Wild West twist, blending live music, dazzling décor, and festive cheer into an immersive indoor experience at the Genting International Showroom.
From 18 to 27 September 2025, running from 6pm to 12am every Thursday till Saturday, the festival invites guests to raise a glass, strike a pose and soak in the exhilarating energy of the Starlight nights. Follow the glow of string lights and bunting as you enter a world where the Old West meets the highlands.
Step inside the Genting International Showroom as it transforms into a saloon-inspired wonderland, alive with rustic charm and festive flair. Wooden barrels, glowing marquees and swinging doors set the scene while the air carries the aromas of festival fares.

Guests can indulge in hearty treats such as pork knuckle with spicy dips, Bavarian spring chicken with potato salad, Italian lamb hot dogs, and crispy pork belly—all best enjoyed with an ice-cold pour. Each bite blends bold Bavarian flavours with a rustic Western twist, making every stop at the food counters a feast to remember.
As the evening unfolds, the stage comes alive with a sensational line-up across two weekends. The festival opens with the soul-stirring sounds of a Jacky Cheung tribute by Hua D on 18 September, followed by the powerhouse anthems of Bon Jovi Tribute Band to keep spirits high on 19 and 20 September. The following weekend turns up the heat with Thai pop-rock sensation getsunova on 25
September, before the curtain closes with a dynamic tribute to Cantopop icons Alan Tam and Aaron Kwok by Zhang YuKun & HuBin on the final days (26-27 Sept). Adding to the excitement, every night will feature a high-energy party band and dazzling dancer performances, while a DJ-and-MC duo keeps the festive momentum rolling until midnight.
Admission to Starlight Festival 2025 is free, with entry open to non-Muslims aged 21 and above. All transactions at the festival with payments accepted via cash, debit, credit card and e-wallets including TNG, Boost Pay, Grab Pay, Alipay, Maybank QR Pay, Genting Points (GP) and GeM (Genting Electronic Money).
