Located on a dedicated floor sprawling over 3,700 square feet, So SPA at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara hosts 7 treatment rooms. Of these, one is an exclusive couple room and a separate male and female private hammam room. So SPA also features a deep relaxation area for guests to extend their relaxation after their treatment and a socialising patio for guests to mingle while enjoying refreshments and healthy dietetic snacks. In an exquisite ambiance of luxury and complete bliss that combines dusty hues of blue and creamy white gently punctuated with rose gold accents and soft edgings, So SPA creates a visually light and floating space that provide an instant serene feeling. So SPA at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara is also inspired by French couturier using soft sculptural folds of garments creating dream-like visual that transports guests into a heavenly and plush ambience. The floating cocoon of textural hand carved feature lighting tapering up to a ceiling ‘halo’ with soft indirect lighting, plush pastel furniture and the flowing sculptural wall panels creates a subtle dynamism to the space.

The So SPA menu is inspired from a gourmet restaurant menu, drawing on the French gastronomic expertise that Sofitel is renowned for. Guests can choose from an à la carte selection with Starters, Main Desserts, Specials and Menu Suggestions. Designed to bring guests into a complete state of relaxation, restoration and rejuvenation, So SPA combines ancient wellness traditional from around the world with the refinement and skills of modern French cosmetology. So SPA also offers treatments that are inspired by Malaysian influences such as the Malay Urut Massage, that feature long, kneading strokes focusing on blood flow and to stimulate energy points while relaxing the muscles, the Oriental Massage is a traditional deep tissue massage technique using medium to strong pressure which integrates ancient Chinese acupressure and Shiatsu elements to relief the body from fatigue and stiffness. Those treatments are exclusive to Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara. Other treatments that are found in So SPAs around the world include the So Exhilarating Massage and So Rejuvenating Facial, both focusing on a euphoric experience. For a hammam purist, So SPA at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara features the first luxury private hammam room for both male and female in Kuala Lumpur. The So Hammam experience begins with the Maghreb traditional cleansing ritual using Savon Noir Beldi olive rich black soup followed by Ghassoul mud body wrap. The ritual ends with a full body massage with tea elixir and Argon oil that will be gently applied into your skin.
