This winter, the region’s most open country is giving travelers more reason to add Qatar to their winter travel plans: a shopping festival brimming with hospitality and shopping offers, fashion-forward events and entertainment for all ages!

MALAYSIA, December 2018 – In its third edition, Shop Qatar returns to add a special dash of spice to the season’s festivities which include Christmas and New Year’s Day. Running through to 20 January 2019, visitors and pass-through passengers are invited to enjoy a variety of carefully curated activities and special offers for the bargain-hunter, the style-savvy and the fashion-forward.



Retail Offers

Bargain hunters will enjoy discounts at any of the 14 participating retailers with a chance to win cash and car prizes worth 3 million QAR in addition to a host of exclusive in-mall entertainment and roaming mall shows, with fun for the whole family.



More than 50 hotels across Qatar will have special offers including discounts on room nights, F&B and health club services as well as free airport transfers.



Authentic Experiences

Visitors interested in exploring the local culture, sights and tastes can join guided shopping tours at Qatar’s oldest traditional market, Souq Waqif. Join them to sample and learn about Qatar’s favourite spices, incense, traditional food, art and clothes.


Shop Qatar Design District

For the first time in Shop Qatar, the Design District offers a hub for the festival’s fashion-forward events and activations at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. Between the 5th and 12th of January, the District will bring a colorful showcase of pop-up shops, international fashion shows by designers from 10 different countries, beauty masterclasses and workshops and all under one roof.


Special Entertainment

In addition to the fashion-focused events, the final week of Shop Qatar 2019 will see a host of live music concerts featuring renowned artists including Indian singer Arjit Singh, and Pakistan’s band Strings and singers Ali Sethi and Quratulain Baloch.
