Pullman Sydney Penrith, The Region’s First Five-Star Hotel, Sets The Standard as Western Sydney Prepares For Its New International Airport

Pullman Sydney Penrith and adjoining Western Sydney Convention Centre (WSCC) at the Panthers Precinct represent a significant development for Western Sydney, one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions. As Penrith’s first 5-star hotel, Pullman Sydney Penrith sets a new benchmark for sophistication in the region. The precinct, only 21 minutes away, serves as a central base for exploring the diverse attractions of New South Wales. Whether venturing westward into the iconic Blue Mountains, heading east to Sydney’s vibrant CBD and Harbour, or enjoying a coastal day trip, Pullman Sydney Penrith gives international travellers an authentic and luxurious alternative to the city’s traditional tourism zones.

SOPHISTICATED FOOD & DINING

Dining is a central part of the experience at Pullman Sydney Penrith. Marcel Bar and Bistro, located on the hotel’s first floor, is a modern European restaurant with a striking Bauhaus-inspired design. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef John Giovanni Pugliano, whose global experience includes Nobu London. He brings a focus on seasonal, ethically sourced ingredients from nearby farms in the Hawkesbury region. Tori, on the ground floor, is a contemporary take on a traditional lobby bar, offering all-day light bites, brews from local coffee bean roasters and pastries for breakfast

The name for both venues pays homage to the late Marcel Breuer, a renowned architect whose only Australian building is heritage-listed and located in Penrith. Breuer collaborated with his former chief assistant and Australia’s foremost architect, Harry Seidler on the Torin factory building, which opened in 1976. The pair also worked together on the design for the Australian Embassy in Paris which opened the following year.

Together, Pullman Sydney Penrith, Marcel Bar and Bistro, Tori, and the Western Sydney Convention Centre form more than just a hospitality offering; they represent a bold new chapter for Penrith and Western Sydney. Whether visiting for business or leisure, it promises an experience that is as memorable as it is meaningful.
