Race Into the Weekend at W Kuala Lumpur: Where Speed, Sound and the City Collide
KUALA LUMPUR, September 22 — This October, as Formula 1 energy returns to Sepang, W Kuala Lumpur is extending the excitement beyond the circuit. From 2 to 4 October 2026, the hotel will host a race weekend line-up featuring dining, live DJ sets, and panoramic views of the city skyline.
The three-day event begins with golden hour sessions at WET Deck, featuring signature cocktails such as the Kuala Loco and Catarina’s Cure. On Friday evening, “Friday Tribe” takes over the Level 12 deck, with DJ sets by Victor Trixter, Adib, and Kuma running from 4.00 pm until late. Entry is priced at MYR 50, inclusive of a first drink.
On Saturday, 3 October, guests can attend the “W Sunset Barbeque” at WET Deck from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm, or dine at Flock on Level 8 for the “Saturday Night Grill” from 6.30 pm to 10.00 pm. Prepared by Chef Anas and his culinary team, the dinner costs MYR 198+ per adult, which includes entry and a drink at WET Deck. Optional beverage packages are available, offering free-flow alcoholic drinks for an additional MYR 150+ or free-flow Champagne for MYR 278+.
Later on Saturday night, “W PRESENTS: Back to Basics” features local selectors Kertna, ANNT, Hong, and Terence C at WET Deck from 4.00 pm till late, with entry priced at MYR 50 including a first drink.
The weekend concludes on Sunday, 4 October, with “Winner’s Circle” from 5.00 pm until midnight. DJs Adrian G and Kuma will perform as guests celebrate the end of the race weekend overlooking the Kuala Lumpur skyline.
