Simplicity is the ‘in’ thing now. Most watches and smartwatches these days come in sleek minimalist designs that appeal to the contemporary lifestyle, reflecting the wearer’s personality. In line with such trend, Motorola presents Moto 360, a range of modern timepieces that comes in various designs, colours, materials and detailing like never before. Each timepiece comprises 15 installed face watches that can be changed at the whim of the wearer for a more personalised look, with more options that can be downloaded using Android Wear app.
Moto 360 is created not only for men, but also women (Rose Gold comes highly recommended), including those who lead active lifestyle (Moto 360 Sport). Switching to favourite bands takes only seconds using the easy clip-on system, while the edge-to-edge glass bezel display maximises the viewing area. It is said that the Moto 360 is the largest screen-to-case ratio of any smartwatch available today.
Moto 360 can be synchronised with any smartphone that runs on either Android or iOs platforms, thus able to pick up notifications and calls at the wrist. Once worn, the smartwatch serves many functions such as tracking the number of steps taken for the day to maintain fitness, answering or rejecting calls, checking emails and accessing weather forecast. As a result, the wearer is able to save up on time and smartphone battery percentage.
For those who are always travelling and on-the-go, they can simply install their favourite apps into Moto 360 – it is now easy to play music on Spotify or scan a flight boarding pass without reaching for the smartphone. The smartwatch can also provide updates on sports teams to remind the wearer on the upcoming matches and even missed game scores.
At minimum usage, Moto 360 has been tested to last up to two days after being fully charged, requiring only and 20 to 30 minutes of charging. The smartwatch is offered at the recommended retail price starting from RM1,399 and available at SenQ, Urban Republic and Thunder Match stores nationwide, including online via Lazada Malaysia.
