Record Number of Malaysian Tourists Visit New Zealand
MALAYSIA, 11 January 2017: A record breaking 50,160 Malaysians have visited New Zealand in the year ending November 2016, representing a 48.4% increase compared to 2015. This is according to new data released by Tourism New Zealand. The data also revealed that the number of holiday arrivals from Malaysia to New Zealand in the same period was a total of 35,440 – a 61.7% increase from 2015 and is also the highest percentage increase in holiday arrivals from Asia to New Zealand.
