Echoing its plantation heritage, the hotel is fashioned with tall windows and open-air features, with its upper lobby and room corridors overlooking the picturesque Courtyard, a popular al fresco outlet for afternoon tête-à-têtes or evening sundowners with relaxing water features. The overall design of the hotel lobby exudes Malaysian charm and culture with a reception sporting artistic prints of bucolic rural life such as fishermen enjoying the wau (Malaysian kite) after a long day at sea, and a ceiling adorned with artistic prints and palm frond-inspired designs.

The 152 new rooms are elegantly designed, showcasing elements of Malaysian culture and craft inspired by traditional Malaysian woven patterns in classic palm oil fruit colours.
