Sichuan Kitchen’s Unveils Its First Mooncake Collection at Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, City Centre
Sichuan Kitchen, the hallmark restaurant of Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, City Centre, takes a classic turn this year to welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival. Its first mooncake debut introduces Moonlit Memento, an illustrious mooncake collection that celebrates simplicity inspired by vintage tin boxes. Doubles as a timeless piece, Moonlit Memento sets a path down memory lane perfect to commemorate the opulent season.
The multipurpose tin box illustrates the notion of a vintage-inspired box from the olden days. For an elevated look, it is intricately designed with a bold Biàn Liàn attribute derived explicitly from the ancient Sichuan culture. The theatrical mask tells its own story while representing the restaurant’s DNA, all for that touch of authenticity.
Keeping to the classic feel in every respect, each set of Moonlit Memento encases four traditional baked mooncakes crafted with the chef’s recipe. They include all-time favourite flavours like Red Bean, White Lotus Single Yolk, Golden Jade Single Yolk, and Green Tea. As the collection is meant to be curated as it is, flavours are not changeable.
