Kuala Lumpur, 13 May 2024 – Following the launch of Batik Air’s ‘Zero Check-in Baggage’ option on the ‘Super Saver’ fare tier for Domestic and ASEAN travellers, the airline is excited to further announce the extension of its ‘Economy Fares Family’ tiers for selected International routes (excluding Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia).
Valid for bookings commencing from 15th May 2024, for travel period from 1st June 2024 onwards, this initiative aims to provide international travellers with greater flexibility and affordability through an extended selection of fare options tailored to meet their preferences.
The revised fares also provide additional advantages for passengers purchasing ‘Economy Flexi’ fare with FREE UNLIMITED date change with fare difference. The ‘Economy Value’ fare is entitled to a FREE ONE-TIME date change with fare difference. For ‘Economy Super-Saver’ fare, the change fee and fare differences will apply for unlimited changes. This applies for all International and Domestic routes.

Under the new ‘Economy Fares Family’, passengers will have the opportunity to select from a range of options tailored for their needs. The fare structure includes the following categories:
