Dao by Dorsett Puteri Cove Officially Opens in Puteri Harbour, Marking Brand’s Debut in Malaysia

ISKANDAR PUTERI, JOHOR, 16 June 2026 – Dao by Dorsett Puteri Cove (DDPC) has officially opened its doors in Puteri Harbour, Iskandar Puteri, Johor, welcoming its first guests and marking the debut of the Dao by Dorsett brand in Malaysia.

The property, which commenced operations on 15 May 2026, represents a significant milestone for Dorsett Hospitality International as it expands its footprint in one of Johor’s fastest-growing lifestyle and tourism destinations.

Strategically located along the scenic waterfront of Puteri Harbour, Dao by Dorsett Puteri Cove offers a contemporary hospitality experience that combines modern comfort, thoughtful design, and personalised service. The opening further enhances the accommodation landscape in Iskandar Puteri, a destination increasingly popular among leisure and business travellers alike.

The soft opening became a memorable occasion with the arrival of the property’s very first guests, a family whose visit symbolised the beginning of DDPC’s hospitality journey.

“We are truly excited to officially open Dao by Dorsett Puteri Cove here in Puteri Harbour,” said Gerard Chan, General Manager of the property. “Welcoming our first guests as a family is a special moment for us, marking the beginning of many memorable stays ahead.”

The opening of DDPC also introduces the Dao by Dorsett philosophy of “Live your way, anywhere” to Malaysia. The brand is designed to cater to modern travellers seeking flexibility, convenience, and a sense of home while away from home.

As the first Dao by Dorsett property in the country, DDPC reflects Dorsett Hospitality International’s commitment to creating meaningful guest experiences through contemporary hospitality concepts tailored to evolving traveller needs.

Situated within one of Johor’s most vibrant waterfront precincts, the property provides easy access to key attractions, lifestyle offerings, and business hubs in Iskandar Puteri. Its location in Puteri Harbour places guests within reach of family-friendly attractions, dining venues, and recreational facilities that have made the area a popular destination in southern Malaysia.
