Ipoh, Perak, 28 November 2024 – ESCAPE Ipoh, the newest addition to the ESCAPE brand of parks under Sim Leisure Group, is excited to introduce ESCAPE Platoon – a unique, military-themed team building programme that sets it apart from other ESCAPE parks. This immersive experience, 100% HRDC-claimable, is offered as both a 1-day programme and a 2-day programme, with the latter featuring an overnight stay at ESCAPE’s BASE CAMP.

ESCAPE Platoon brings aspects of military life to civilian life, incorporating battlefield scenarios and military drills designed to reawaken survival instincts, crucial for thriving in the workplace. Participants in ESCAPE Platoon will develop essential teamwork, character, and leadership skills, preparing them to succeed in both personal and professional challenges.

As part of the launch of ESCAPE Platoon, ESCAPE Ipoh has also revamped its obstacle course, known as Obstacleplay. This military-themed course includes various physical drills from the Platoon programme, adding a heightened sense of realism to the experience. Other activities in the ESCAPE Platoon include obstacle course drills, rafting, aerial challenges, and commando cookout.

ESCAPE Ipoh is located at the historic TT5 Dredge site, situated near Ipoh, Perak. This 140 acre site offers ESCAPE’s signature low-tech, high-fun rides and attractions, with its vast landscape and lakes setting it apart from other ESCAPE parks.

Some of the unique attractions include:

Monkey Business and Flying Lemur – Rope courses and ziplines up to 200 meters long, taking visitors over the scenic lake.
Slip N’ Slide – A brand-new water slide where visitors glide down a water slide on a water board and stride across the lake.
Marine Academy – A massive water obstacle course, ten times the size of ESCAPE Penang’s AK Academy.
Bouncer – A floating airbag where one person jumps on one side to launch another person off the other side into the air and into the lake.
Water Sports – Relaxing water-based activities such as kayaking, pedal boats, and Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) over the lake.
Cycling Trails – With its vast landscape, visitors can cycle around the park to explore different attractions. Bicycles and e-scooters are available for rent.

As a multi-day attraction, ESCAPE Ipoh also features BASE CAMP, a lakeside accommodation perfect for overnight stays. Included with 2-day and 3-day tickets, tents are provided for visitors to enjoy the serene surroundings. The camp offers sunset views and various night activities, including barbecuing by the lake, night fishing, and karaoke, making the complex an ideal destination for extended fun and adventure.
