The acclaimed silent mentalist, Aaron Crow is currently the resident ‘mystician’ for Resorts World Genting, Pahang. He is set to impress the audience through his electrifying performance of magic, suspense, risky stunts and mystery through the special show called “Fearless! Aaron Crow is an award-winning mentalist with international achievements such as first place in the World Championships of Magic, World Champion Mentalism during the 2003 Den Haag XXII World Championships and winning the Wizard Trophy (Phenomenon category) last year. Also known for his impactful appearance on the popular talent show, Britain’s Got Talent, Aaron invites the audience to a journey of a whirlwind emotion when facing what could be their biggest fear.

“The show is all about making warriors out of the spectators. I believe we can all overcome fears, we can all become stronger,” he said during a media preview.

But to the Gaya Travel team, the most intriguing part of Aaron’s showmanship is his excellent ability to build tension and keep the audience guessing, not knowing what his next action would be since he remains silent throughout the show.

He typically starts the show by leading three members of the audience onstage with three different items to hold: a bag of rice, a piece of wooden board and a pineapple. Then, he pours hot candle wax over his eyes and covers his face with bandages, black tape and foil. He later uses a knife to slice the bag, nunchaku to break the board, and a katana to slice the pineapple in two, blindfolded without injuring any of the volunteers. That, however, is just the beginning; his subsequent acts heighten the suspense further and leave the audience on the edge of their seats.

When asked which act is his favourite, Aaron responded that it is the ‘Bow Man’ that excites him the most. The act, which revolves around the bravery and love storyline, has Aaron stands on a revolving platform with bow and arrow in hand while a male partner of a couple holds an apple containing a ring on his other half’s head. Aaron then shoots the arrow through the apple, hitting the target, complete with the ring on it.

And to end his show on a high note, he performs yet another death defying act called ‘The Final Bullet’, whereby Aaron attempts to catch a signed bullet shot from a 300 bar paintball machine gun using his mouth – again, this extremely intense situation could possibly kill him yet he makes it look so effortless.

“Fearless! Cheating Death Nightly” starts at 9:00 p.m. every night at tGenting International Showroom until 15 May 2016; matinee shows starts at 4:00 p.m. on selected dates. Tickets are priced at RM78 (PS2), RM98 (PS1) and RM118 (VIP).
