It is hoped that both the state and the federal government can make this event as a sport tourism product so it can be held on a larger scale and eventually become an annual event. Paragliding games are particularly popular in Europe with over 500,000 paragliding pilots are spread across the world.

At an altitude of 329 meters above sea level, with a breathtaking view of Kuala Nerus which includes the state’s airport, paddy fields, rivers and durian estates, Bukit Maras has the potential to be a popular site for paragliding.
