Celebrating her 50th year of independence, Singapore goes all out with its programme line-up this 2015 as she invites the world to rejoice in her Golden Jubilee celebration: SG50.

Named by Lonely Planet as the best city to visit and ranked by New York Times as one of the Top 10 places to go this year, Singapore will be throwing a year-long celebration with festivities beginning from New Year’s Eve and continuing through the year with the SEA Games and National Day Parade as some key highlights. Much like Malaysia, Singapore is one of the world’s most multicultural cities and SG50’s calendar of events will showcase the vibrant diversity, reflecting on themes such as Heritage, Culture and Community.

Despite having Singapore be named as one of the most expensive cities in the world, it is still possible to bask in the festivities. Far East Hospitality (“FEH”), Singapore’s largest and fastest growing operator for hotels and serviced residences, offers an insight and a recommended list of wallet-friendly activities so that everyone can join in the birthday bash without breaking the bank:

Travellers can also choose accommodations that resonate best with their psychographics. The strategic locations of each Far East Hospitality hotel are also an added advantage as this provides travellers with a number of accommodations to choose from depending on the traveller’s preference and itinerary.

“There is never a dull moment in Singapore and we always have so many activities for visitors to experience and take away. This year will be one huge celebration for Singapore and as a wholly-owned Singaporean brand, our hotels and serviced residences offer just as much, if not more than what guests can expect when they stay with us,” comments Mr. Arthur Kiong, CEO of Far East Hospitality.

Mr. Kiong adds, “With our various hotel types and serviced residences that cater to different travellers’ preferences, guests can look forward to choosing accommodation that is best suited for their needs without the extra costs. Our hotels are strategically located in different parts of Singapore as well to fit different travellers’ psychographics while our serviced residences take it a step further by offering guests facilities and services that are unique to Far East Hospitality. We hope that these extra touches we provide will allow guests to discover and experience Singapore in more ways than one.”

With 10 hotels and 8 serviced residences in Singapore, this gives Far East Hospitality the advantage of being the largest chain of hotels that provide convenience, accessibility and comfort to suit any type of traveller looking to stay around the island state.
