Embark on a creative journey bursting with rich cultural experiences and artisanal creations. Kids aged 4 and up are invited to sign up for the Art Up event at Table Talk, Mezzanine Floor of Dorsett Hartamas Kuala Lumpur. Organised in collaboration with Artdialogo Asia, the event is scheduled for Saturday, 29th June 2024 from 11 am to 1 pm.
This interactive, fun and inspiring art and craft workshop will be led by Anna Karina Jardin, the founding artist and CEO of Artdialogo Asia. The workshop is priced at RM150 nett per child inclusive of art material and lunch.
Kids participating in this workshop will have the opportunity to unleash their creativity and express themselves through art and at the end of the workshop, one masterpiece shall be adjudged the winner and will win a one-night stay in a Malayan Tiger themed room at Dorsett Hartamas Kuala Lumpur. The prize is valued at RM488 nett and comes with an overnight stay in a Dorsett Room for accompanying adults and one themed room; breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids and a surprise gift for the kids. That’s not all, kids will have the opportunity to win a surprise prize when they complete a colouring poster found in the room and hand this over upon check out the next day to the friendly associates at the Front Desk.

This fun workshop will be led by Filipino-born Anna Karina Jardin who is the founding artist and CEO of Artdialogo Asia. Anna, who is now based in Malaysia, began her artistic journey in 2009 and is recognised by several institutions and government bodies across the world. Karina is also an inaugural fellow of ASEAN Youth Fellowship Program 2018 by Singapore International Foundation and National Youth Council- Singapore; and the first Female Filipino Artist to install a 100 ft long mural in Chandigarh, India in 2019; and collated 550 stories of resilience from girls across the city as part of her collaborative piece, “Rights to Passage” in support of girls’ rights in India in 2021. She has also been named as one of the 80 Young Women achievers of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines in 2021 and recently received the Global Youth Icon Award during the 15th Global Youth Peace Festival held in Malaysia. She had her first solo art exhibition in 2014 and had installed numerous art murals across Asia and Europe. Karina was recently appointed by The Gabarron Foundation/ Queen Sofia Children’s Art Museum as the official Ambassador to promote the #kids4humanrights in Asia contest and conduct workshops.
