SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, 27 October 2026 – Series by Marriott, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio of over 30 extraordinary hotel brands, announces the opening of three hotels in South Korea: UH Seoul Insadong, Series by Marriott; Anook Signature Incheon Guwol, Series by Marriott; and Anook Signature Busan Haeundae, Series by Marriott. Together, the hotels add 273 rooms, bringing the brand’s portfolio in the country to four hotels and 377 rooms, following its country debut with Anook Signature Seoul Guro, Series by Marriott. Series by Marriott brings together established, regionally recognized hotel brands, preserving their local identity while connecting guests to Marriott Bonvoy. The three new hotels reflect this approach through distinct design and guest experiences, with a focus on comfortable stays and well-executed fundamentals.
“These three openings give travelers more choice in how they experience South Korea, from the cultural neighborhoods of Seoul to Incheon’s business district and Busan’s coast,” said Duke Nam, Regional Vice President, South Korea, Vietnam and Philippines, Marriott International. “Each hotel retains its own identity while offering the comfort, quality and care guests expect from Marriott. This is what Series by Marriott brings to travelers: locally rooted stays, backed by the global reach and benefits of Marriott.”
UH Seoul Insadong, Series by Marriott: A Contemporary Take on Korean Design
UH Seoul Insadong, Series by Marriott is located in the heart of Seoul, overlooking Cheonggyecheon Stream. Housed in a historic building, the hotel is within walking distance of Jongno 3-ga and Euljiro 3-ga subway stations and several of the city’s best-known attractions, including Insadong, Myeongdong and Gwangjang Market.
Inspired by the traditional Korean aesthetic of white, the interiors combine a monochromatic palette, soft forms, textured materials and shifting light to create a calm, welcoming setting. The lounge features a canopy-style ceiling, blue acrylic furniture and works by Korean artists Junoh Jang and Hyoeun Shin, including an installation referencing traditional Korean village totem poles and a media art installation drawing on East Asian painting.
The hotel offers 51 guestrooms across eight room types, extending the white palette and layered textures into spaces designed for rest. Accommodations range from Queen and Twin rooms to two-bedroom suites, with select guestrooms offering city views and private in-room spas. Details inspired by Korea’s natural landscapes and traditional forms are complemented by adjustable lighting, allowing guests to tailor the atmosphere to their preferences. On the 15th floor, Yeo Baek Won, the hotel’s café and lounge, serves brunch and coffee with views of Cheonggyecheon Stream.

Designed around the idea of letting go and recharging, the hotel combines restful interiors with personalized experiences that let guests unwind in their own way. Its 118 guestrooms span nine room types, accommodating different travel needs and group sizes. Beyond private in-room bathtubs, guests can enjoy a large communal bathhouse and Finnish sauna on the first basement level, open until 2 a.m., with complimentary ice cream available afterward. The Grain serves breakfast and late-night meals, while a self-service laundry room adds convenience for longer stays.
