Flying Up High In The Air Space of Kota Bharu

Tourism Malaysia and Kota Bharu Flying Club (KBFC) – with the support of Asia Pacific Flight Training (APFT) – recently unveiled the Sky Scenic Tour, a special and exclusive flying package that offers the experience of viewing Kota Bharu from the air for 15 minutes, beginning from Bachok beach up to Gunung Stong in Dabong, Kuala Krai.

According to Tourism Malaysia Kelantan State Director, Zurina Abdul Samad, this package is made available to kickstart the Visit Kelantan Year 2012 and intend to attract tourists to stop in Kelantan before heading to other destinations such as Perhentian and Redang islands. The package charges only RM 80 per person per ride.

According to the advisor of KBFC, Najib Badruddin, they have designated 40 light planes comprising Piper Warrior II and Diamond 40 series for this activity. The KBFC office is located at Sultan Ismail Petra Airport, Pengkalan Chepa, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Visitors should take note that the availability of the package depends on weather and wind conditions.
