Putrajaya – In conjunction with the recent Formula 1 Grand Prix Malaysia, IOI City Mall was set to delight its patrons with an adrenaline pumping journey of viewing the latest F1 races while taming the tummies along the foodie trail at The Symphony Walk, Ground Floor from 30 September to 2 October 2016.
The three-day event since last Friday, themed Foodie & Speed, warmly welcomed patrons to walk in and enjoy live viewing of Formula 1 Grand Prix Malaysia races on the projector screen while catching the exclusive happy hour promotions at the dining outlets along the Al-fresco stretch. Over the weekend, a set of car simulators were also available to provide the thrills of realistic racing to all patrons. There was also a display of elegant sporty cars as Malaysia Audi TT Owner Club hosted their gathering at the venue on Saturday evening. With so many exciting offerings, it’s definitely a fiesta to remember, of tempting food with a pinch of roaring speed.

Apart from that, patrons can have shopping and entertainment at its best as The Symphony Walk is transformed into a lively market place every weekend starting October, themed the Sunset Market. The market shall commence from 3pm onwards on Saturday and 12pm on Sunday, both until the 10pm at night. This is where the locals gather for glorious food, leisure shopping, musical fountains and lively entertainment over the weekends.

Being more than just a destination for dining and shopping, the mall is also hosting a weekly free work out session from 9.30 to 10.30am every Sunday morning, themed Shape Up Sunday, starting in the second weekend of October. This proactive campaign is a joint effort between the mall management, Dream Fitness and Kementerian Belia dan Sukan, to advocate active lifestyle at The Symphony Walk. For one hour, patrons in their sports attire shall stay fit with different session each week, such as Zumba, Aerodance, Crossfit Training and more.
As the mall strives to create amphitheatre spaces and intimate seating, natural elements areincorporated to provide retreat from the tensions of urban living. Such is the intent of The
Symphony Walk, to create a well-balanced work, shop, play and lively environment. This stunning waterfront and al-fresco stretch also features a nightly refreshing entertainment for those who love to unwind after a long day. As the night falls, the dancing fountains and dazzling lights are choreographed according to the rhythm of a selected playlist. Thus, the musical performances are scheduled five times a day – from Mondays to Thursday at 7.20pm, 8.00pm, 8.30pm, 9.00pm and 9.30pm, whereas from Fridays to Sundays, it plays at 7.20pm, 8.00pm, 8.30pm, 9.30pm and 10.00pm respectively.
