Making the Most of Islamic Tourism Month 2024: Experience Tazyeen Restaurant and Farm in the City

Islamic Tourism Month (ITM) 2024 – Organised by the Islamic Tourism Centre (ITC) from 16 August until 30 September 2024 – is back to highlight the rich and diverse Islamic and Muslim-friendly tourism and Hospitality (MFTH) experiences available in Malaysia to a global audience.

Throughout the duration, ITM 2024 features a series of activities and promotions aimed at both local and international tourists such as discounted hotel stays, theme park tickets, spa sessions, shopping mall sales, intellectual webinars, seminars, and more.

This campaign event includes exclusive offers across various categories such as Accommodation; Tour Packages; Spa and Wellness; Food and Beverage; Attractions, Events, and Exhibitions; Mosque Open Days; Mosque Programs; Training and Seminars; Shopping; and Health Tourism.

A key highlight of ITM 2024 is the showcase of ITC’s hotel partners who have received the prestigious Muslim-Friendly Tourism and Hospitality Assurance and Recognition (MFAR). This recognition, an extension of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture’s (MOTAC) star rating system, is the world’s first Islamic tourism-related certification issued by a government agency.

Among the exciting promotions available during ITM 2024 are:

● Accommodation: Enjoy up to 40% off at Lavender Inn Permas in Masai, Johor, or a 25% discount at eRYAbySURIA in Bentong, Pahang.
● Spa & Wellness: Indulge in a 50% discount on beauty and wellness packages at Tuah Teja Spa in Penang.
● Travel Packages: Obtain specially discounted holiday packages to explore Malaysia’s nature, heritage, culture, cuisine, and more.
● Mosque Open Day: Discover beyond the beauty and history of Malaysia’s iconic mosques and participate in family-friendly local activities.

In addition, ITC is holding a TikTok challenge as well, promising the chance to win exclusive prizes totalling MYR50,000 such as exclusive conference passes, luxurious hotel stays, Umrah packages for two, various holiday packages, prepaid cards, and more.

To win, everybody is invited to create videos by recording and sharing his or her experience when enjoying a vacation or visiting ITM 2024’s participating partners on TikTok with captivating posts. These videos must be set to ‘public’ so that they can be seen by many.

Remember to also hit the ‘follow’ button on ITC’s TikTok (@itc_my) and use the hashtag #ExperienceITM2024 to participate in this challenge.
