Suria KLCC Group Celebrates a Royal Deepavali Across Three Malls

Kuala Lumpur, 28 October 2026 — The Suria KLCC Group invites shoppers to celebrate the Festival of Lights in regal style this Deepavali, with festivities across Suria KLCC, Alamanda Shopping Centre, and Mesra Mall that bring together palace-inspired décor, traditional Indian arts, and rewarding shopping experiences. The celebrations begin on 23 October 2026, in conjunction with Deepavali on Sunday, 8 November 2026.

With Kuala Lumpur welcoming visitors from around the world for Visit Malaysia 2026, the celebration also offers international guests a vivid first taste of how Malaysians come together to celebrate Deepavali.

SURIA KLCC: A ROYAL PALACE COURTYARD IN THE HEART OF THE CITY

From 23 October to 11 November 2026, Suria KLCC’s Centre Court will be transformed into an enchanting Indian Palace Courtyard inspired by traditional royal Indian architecture, giving visitors the sense of stepping into a majestic palace. A pair of 10-foot peacocks frame the grand archway at the entrance, while a striking LED screen with water features adds to the splendour of the setting.

At the heart of the courtyard stands a Grand Pavilion, blending traditional architectural motifs with intricate golden latticework and vibrant silk accents. Evoking the grandeur of a royal palace, it offers shoppers the perfect backdrop for capturing memorable festive moments.

The courtyard comes alive with festive dance performances on 1, 7, and 8 November 2026, as rhythmic footwork and expressive gestures take centre stage.

For a more hands-on celebration, the Kolam Tart Decorating Workshop by Flaaah on 31 October, and 1, 8, and 9 November 2026 invites participants to decorate Flaaah’s limited-edition Masala Chai Custard Tart with colourful kolam-inspired patterns. Participants can then visit the Flaaah outlet to enjoy an exclusive 20% off a full box of tarts.

Meanwhile, the Pleines Natures: Paper Bouquet Workshop by Yves Rocher on 31 October, and 1, 7, and 8 November 2026 invites visitors to create their own paper card bouquet and finish it off with a spritz of Yves Rocher’s newest fragrance from the Pleines Natures collection—a fun, hands-on, and sensorial introduction to the brand’s fragrance range.

Francis Tan, Executive Director and CEO of Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd, said: “Deepavali in Malaysia has always been about the open house – the door is open, there’s food on the table, and everyone is welcome. That’s the feeling we wanted to bring into our malls. A palace courtyard is where guests are received, so we’ve built one for our shoppers and visitors – somewhere to catch a festive dance performance, decorate a kolam tart or take that family photo, before sharing a meal at one of our many restaurants and cafés or heading home to celebrate. Whether you’re with us at Suria KLCC, Alamanda or Mesra Mall, we want you to feel like an honoured guest.”

Festive Rewards: Shoppers who spend RM1,000 and above in two receipts will receive a RM50 Suria KLCC Shopping e-Voucher, limited to the first 300 redemptions. Additionally, shoppers who purchase RM1,000 worth of Suria KLCC Shopping e-Vouchers will receive an additional RM100 e-Voucher, limited to the first 20 shoppers.

ALAMANDA SHOPPING CENTRE: A CELEBRATION OF COLOUR IN PUTRAJAYA

From 23 October to 9 November 2026, Alamanda Shopping Centre will be adorned with a colourful kolam illuminated by traditional lamps and complemented by a festive arch, creating a vibrant setting for shoppers to soak up the spirit of the Festival of Lights.

Throughout the campaign, Alamanda’s Green Ribbon Pin Sale continues the Suria KLCC Group’s mental health awareness initiative, with each RM10 pin directly supporting mental health NGOs—a small gesture that carries the true spirit of the festival.

Festive Rewards: Under Deepavali Rewards, shoppers who spend RM500 and above in up to two receipts will receive a RM30 Alamanda e-Voucher and two scented candles. Under High Spender Rewards, spending RM1,500 and above in up to two receipts brings an entitlement to receive RM80 in Alamanda e-Vouchers and two scented candles.

MESRA MALL: A PALACE WELCOME ON THE EAST COAST

Mesra Mall in Kemasik, Terengganu, will celebrate Deepavali from 1 to 10 November 2026, with its Concierge Counter area dressed in an Indian Palace Courtyard-inspired setting. Elegant palace-style elements, traditional motifs, floral arrangements, vibrant colours, and warm lighting come together to create a welcoming and culturally rich ambience for shoppers.

As part of the mall’s Shoppers’ Rewards Programme, the first 100 shoppers who spend RM350 and above in two receipts can redeem a RM30 Mesra Mall Shopping Voucher.
