Concorde Hotel KL Launches ‘Bila Rasa Berbicara’ Buffet
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur will celebrate the spirit of Ramadan with its Bila Rasa Berbicara Nightly Feast, running from 19 February to 20 March 2026 at Melting Pot Café. The buffet draws inspiration from balik kampung traditions, blending comforting Malay classics with contemporary culinary highlights.
The Melting Pot culinary team will showcase signature and crowd-favourite dishes, alongside a new feature — the Josper Charcoal Grill from Spain — which adds bold, smoky flavours to the spread. Traditional Malay offerings include gulai tunjang masak lemak cili api, pucuk paku ikan bilis, sambal tumis udang petai, asam pedas tetel and siput sedut masak lemak, prepared using heritage recipes by Chef Mohamad Yusoff and Malay sous chef Arif Iberahim.
Josper Grill specials range from Johor-style pepes ikan and ayam percik to Australian mini ribeye steaks and New Zealand lamb shoulder. Rare kampung delicacies such as telur itik masak lemak cili padi, gulai ketam nipah and signature soups including sup gearbox and sup kambing add a nostalgic touch, while the Nasi Kandar stall features favourites such as kari kepala ikan and kambing varuval.
Live cooking stations include BBQ teppan seafood, roast whole lamb with briyani rice, seafood on ice, a Japanese corner with sashimi and sushi, and local favourites such as mee tarik Lanzhou and murtabak. The buffet also offers Western, Thai and Chinese selections, including pasta prepared in a Grana Padano cheese wheel and Thai and Chinese stir-fry dishes.
Dessert highlights feature live onde-onde, kuih popiah peanut ice cream wraps, ais kacang, tau foo fah and assorted traditional sweets. Guests will be entertained nightly by the Begema 5 Batak Band, creating a festive ambience throughout Ramadan.
The buffet is priced at RM198 nett per person, with a special rate of RM178 nett on selected dates. Children aged six to 11 receive a 50 percent discount.
