Eiichiro Oda presents Hello, ONE PIECE Luffy is here!

Calling all Manga lovers! An exhibition that celebrates Japan’s most iconic manga – ONE PIECE – will be held soon from Saturday, 26 August to Wednesday, 18 October 2017 at ISETAN The Japan Store Kuala Lumpur in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The exhibition, which is known as “Eiichiro Oda presents Hello, ONE PIECE Luffy is here!”, celebrates the series’s 20th anniversary with many exciting activities including a Virtual Reality zone with content specially curated for this exhibition and is shown for the first time in the world.
Comic fans in general should also take this opportunity to witness the well-known author’s, Eiichiro Oda, artistic aspects in drawing the ONE PIECE manga at a special section with a replica of Eiichiro Oda’s desk at his workplace.
“ONE PIECE” is a Manga which started serializing in “Weekly Shonenjump” magazine in 1997 and gained unprecedented popularity. Ever since it started, ONE PIECE has also been loved in Asia, Europe, the USA, and other various countries around the world. As of today, the 86 total volumes have sold more than 350 million copies in Japan alone. The series is said to keep continuing its journey even after its 20th year.
Malaysia is selected to be the first stop for the “Eiichiro Oda presents Hello, ONE PIECE Luffy is here!” exhibition due to a large number of followings especially young people who are receptive towards manga trends.
